HHS played their final pool game of the tournament against Walker Valley (AL). Hendersonville got on the board early with three runs in the top of the third inning. Emily Mays led off the game with a double, then got to third on an error by an outfielder. Ashleigh Stratton would get hit by a pitch, then steal second. Carly Corah would get on base by a fielders choice, that scored Emily. Carly would then steal second base. Ashleigh would score on a groundout by Destiny Paul. Carly would score on a ground out by Alex Walker. Walker Valley would score one run in the bottom of the first inning off a walk, sac bunt, and an error. Hendersonville would get one run in the third inning. Destiny Paul would single, get to second on a groundout, and score on a Becca Griffin single. One more run would score in the top of the fourth as Emily Mays would score (after being walked) on a double by Carly Corah. Walker Valley would get their final run of the game in the bottom of the fourth (which came from a hit and an error by the Lady Commandos). The Lady Commandos would add two runs in the fifth inning. ALex Walker would start the inning by getting hit by a pitch. Lindsey Munn would follow that with a single, then steal second base. Becca Griffin would score them both on a single. The final run of the game came in the top of the sixth when Destiny Paul would hit a two out double, followed by a single by Alex Walker to bring Destiny home. Alexis Meadors pitched the entire six innings. Alexis gave up six hits on the morning's game.
The win made the Lady Commandos 2-1 in their pool, which put them in second place. This put the Lady Commandos in the Gold Division of the tournament with a 1:00 game against Lawrence County (AL).
